ENG<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MULTIPLEXE is a small-scale exhibition space. It was imagined and built by artists Benjamin De Backer and Diego Thielemans between 2018 and 2021.
Exhibitions are organized in this space on the basis of invitations to artists and on the occasion of workshops. The small size of the exhibition rooms invites to rethink the different relationships that institute the work of art; to the public, to the building, to the external conditions, to the production or to the temporality.
Moreover, the building is modular and can be thought of as being in continuous transformation. The relative ease with which architectural changes can be implemented makes MULTIPLEXE a privileged place for experimentation in the art of the exhibition and in the exhibition of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MULTIPLEXE est un espace d’exposition de petite taille. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9 et construit par les artistes Benjamin De Backer et Diego Thielemans entre 2018 et 2021.
Dans ce lieu, s’organisent des expositions sur base d’invitations \u00e0 des artistes et \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de workshops. La petite taille des salles d\u2019expositions convie \u00e0 repenser les diff\u00e9rents rapports qui instituent l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art ; au public, au b\u00e2timent, aux conditions ext\u00e9rieures, \u00e0 la production ou encore \u00e0 la temporalit\u00e9.
De plus, le b\u00e2timent est modulaire et se pense en transformation continue. La relative facilit\u00e9 de mise en oeuvre de modifications architecturales fait de MULTIPLEXE un lieu privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation en art de l’exposition et en exposition de l’art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
